About

I am a PhD candidate studying Epidemiology at Drexel University School of Public Health.  Prior to starting my doctoral studies, I received my MPH in Biostatistics from Drexel and my BA in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University. My research interest lies in examining the social and structural factors that drive racial and gender inequalities in HIV risk in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) and the U.S.

My dissertation research uses social epidemiology, spatial, and machine learning methodologies to identify and characterize micro-epidemics and identify multilevel factors that impact adolescent mothers’ HIV risk in SSA.
